In these posts, the coven speaks, listens, and finds comfort – together. If you have words of encouragement, a story that may offer comfort to others, need a good vent to others who just get it, or have anything to contribute to the community, click the contact button and submit your post through the “Message” link. If you’re comfortable, let us know your name, age, and stage of pregnancy/ motherhood or you can absolutley submit anonymously. Feel free to get creative with a fun name we can use instead!
All experiences are welcome; the good, the bad, and the ugly included. I just ask that you remember negative-in-nature stories are not the same as negative behavior (I won’t re-post anything that is accusatory, places blame, is heavily political, or uses verbiage that otherwise belittles, shows prejudice, or hatred toward any group or individuals.) I will always also encourage each of us to share the light within our stories – not for toxic positivity – but to remember that even in life’s most bleak moments, there will always be hope to hold onto.
A few prompt ideas for you to explore are:
“To the Woman Who Never Thought She’d Be a Mother” – For those of us who weren’t sure if we wanted children, were terrified of becoming a mom, or those who unexpectedly became a mother.
“To the Sister in the Gray” – Maybe you’re pregnant and still not sure if this is what you want. Maybe you’ve experienced loss during pregnancy. Maybe you’re doing your best to not live in extremes. Whatever the “gray” looks like for you, we’re here to listen.
“To the Woman Becoming Against All Odds” – This journey comes with inescapable challenges. Knowing we aren’t alone in our struggles is how we power through – together. This is the space to share your struggles and find hope within them.
